Photographer
My cousin is an excellent Photographer. She is offering a great deal right now. Check out some of her work by clicking here.
Remember when?
Ella: Mom, remember when I just turned 3, and I did this? (puts pen in mouth and wiggles it.)
Me: No, I don't specifically remember you doing that.
Ella: That's because you had your back turned the other way and you couldn't see me.

Ella and I have been busy making crafts this weekend/week. We are both sick, and since I can no longer do the mandatory growling while playing Dinosaurs we are crafting. Here's some of our creations.

Dinosaur Museum
This week Ella's preschool class is studying Dinosaurs! Obviously Ella is very excited. Today we went on a field trip to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Sometimes they have sleepovers at the museum called Dinosnorzzz. I think it would be a fun activity for this summer.

Valentine Gingerbread Houses
My mom & Trisha had the day off work today, so they invited us over to make gingerbread houses. Trisha got the houses & candy at huge after Christmas discounts.

Cait: Ella, don't tell my other friends, but you are way bigger than them. You're my biggest friend.
Ella was very pleased when Cait told her this!

Lucky Girl
In October I heard that "Walking with the Dinosaurs" was coming to Salt Lake in January. I've been trying to talk Tyler into buying tickets ever since. But every month there was something more important that we needed to spend our money on (Business equipment, property taxes, business bills... boring stuff like that.) I decided if we weren't going to buy the tickets, we would have to win them. I personally entered at least 8 different contests. Trisha, Emily, my mom, & Ryan entered some as well. I had people calling me every time they saw a new contest. (Thanks Syd!) Obviously my hard work didn't pay off. Finally, on Monday, I was able to nag, whine, & eventually persuade Tyler to make the big purchase. Not too long after we bought the tickets for Saturday, Ella and I were invited along with Emily & Cait to see the same Dinosaur Show last night with Laura & Jane (They had 6 free tickets). We felt guilty at first, since we already had tickets for Saturday, but they insisted we come, and that they probably wouldn't be able to find anyone else to go with them at such short notice. If I were to say that Ella LOVED the show, it would be an understatement. Cait cried when the T-Rex came on stage. Ella cried when he left. We had a fabulous time! Thanks so much for inviting us Laura! Ella wants to see this show everyday. Luckily she gets to see it again on Saturday. What a Lucky Lucky girl!(Although my camera isn't professional it wasn't allowed in the show :( I stole this cute picture off Laura's blog.)

Your ugly sweater is so cute!
This morning I purchased an Ugly Christmas Sweater for next years "Nogger" party A.K.A. the Ugly sweater or Egg Nogg party. (They are currently 90% off at some stores.) Ella and I had the following conversation shortly after.
Ella: Mom, what did you buy?
Me: It's an ugly Christmas sweater for next years party.
Ella: When I get bigger can I wear your ugly Christmas sweater? I think it's sooo cute!
