Girl being eaten by a unicorn-monster dress

I totally want this dress! I doubt Tyler will let me buy it. It's $200 which is 4 times as much as the most expensive dress I own. (excluding my wedding dress.)
It isn't very practical for church. But it would be great for a number of occasions such as Halloween, April Fools Day, or I'd love to be wearing it when I open the door for a solicitor.

Spit Bubbles

Yesterday, While looking at Lily with admiration, Ella says to me:
How her make those spit bubbles?

Today she says to me:
How about if I teach Lily to use scissors, and her can teach me to make spit bubbles?

Ty's gift

Tyler got a gift from his postal friends.
His own Par avian airmail stickers. A whole pack of them!

Who is Hannah Montana?

Advice: Not a cool thing to say to a bunch of 8 year old girls.

Night Owl

Ella: "How come Lily sleep at day time, and wake up all night?"
Me: "Because she has a little tummy and needs to eat during the night."

Not satisfied with my answer, she turns to Lily and says,
"Are you an owl?"

Lily gets excited and starts Cooing & waving her arms.
Ella: "Her is Hooting & flapping her wings."

Me: "Maybe she is an owl after all!"

I guess that explains why she's up all night.

Happy Birthday Brielle & Carma

Tyler's Postal Friends

I used to go to the post office a lot, but it was hard taking a tantrum throwing 3 year old, all my packages, and my big pregnant belly there everyday. Tyler kindly took over. He goes there everyday on his way into work. (Saturdays too.)
Not only is he on a first name basis with every employee, but he knows all about their lives. He comes home each day with updates on his friends.
"I'm glad Wally's back, he's one of my favorites."
"Daryl is retiring in three weeks, he transfered here from Arizona."
"I haven't seen Susan in a while."
"Everyone at the post office loves our new black mail carrier."
I know he's going to stop telling me all about his friends after he reads this post, but I like hearing about them. I'm glad he enjoys his visits to the post office.
Thanks Tyler for mailing my packages every day!

Don't laugh too hard!

I'm going to be on a morning radio show this Friday morning. What radio station? Lite Rock 99 WNNS in Illinois. It's too funny. Why would people want to listen to me on their way to work? It cracks me up. Buy hey, it's free advertising, so even though I feel pretty silly about it, I'm not going to say no. You can listen to it live on their website. The show is about "The next In thing."

Another exciting thing will be happening on Monday. I'm going to be the featured seller on Etsy. You can read my interview on their front page starting Mon. Feb. 25th at Noon. I think it will stay up for two days. Martha Stewart said Etsy was one of her favorite websites. I'm hoping she visits on the day I'm featured and invites me on her show. Ha ha, it's seems pretty likely that it would happen.

Important stuff

Ella handed me these papers with "Important stuff" on them. In no particular order, they are froofwell, wrashsha, schooskin, & shcwana. (I may have miss-spelled a few of these important things.) My job is to guard them from Lily. It would be devastating if she were to ruin them. I'm sure Lily (who can't even roll over) is currently working on a scheme to retrieve these important documents from my possession so she can ultimately destroy them.

Pillow fight

Cait: "Pillow fight!" (grabs her pillow & hits it against Ella.)
Ella: "Sleeping bag fight!" (grabs her sleeping bag & hits it against Cait.)

Today

I woke up.
Lily cried. Tyler went to work. Lily cried. Lily kept crying. Ella got her hand stuck in her piggy bank (again!) She cried. Lily still cried. Ella pooped her pants. She cried some more. It's 1:30pm, I haven't eaten yet. Lily is sitting in my lap right now crying. I look around at my messy house. Our laundry is backed up. My orders are piling up, I haven't even started working today. Although I woke up early, I'm still in my pajamas.
Sometimes I miss my day job, but even on days like today, I think I'd rather be home with my kids.
