the Alphabet

Today Lily was taking a nap, Tyler was at the post office, and I was busy getting things done in the office. After about 1/2 hour of uninterrupted work, I started to panic. Anyone who has kids knows that 1/2 hour of silence & peace is an indication of trouble. I ran into the family room to see Ella busily typing away on my phone. Apparently she emailed the alphabet to a few of our customers. I'm just glad that was all she was up to, besides, If she hadn't done that, I was planning to do it myself. We want our customers to know that we know our ABC's.

We should probably start unpacking

We had a great time in California. Ella was wonderful. I think she enjoyed having all the attention for a few days. We came home Thursday afternoon to a blizzard. We've been working hard to catch up on orders from the second we walked in the door, and I'm happy to say we are almost caught up. I guess we should start unpacking now. I may not be blogging much for the next 3 weeks. I'm working on a project that needs to be finished before Tyler and I leave for NYC.

The Beach

His lunch flew away...

... High into the sky. I looked over just in time to see a seagull
grab Ryans corndog and fly away with it.

Space Mountain

The weather was perfect today. Sunny but not too hot. My mom won us
all passes that allowed us to cut to the front of the line on all the
popular rides in Disneyland & California Adventure. Luckily Ella was
just tall enough to ride most of the rides. Her favorites were Space
Mountain & Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The only ride she didn't
like was the Twilight zone tower of terror.

We miss lily

Yesterday Tyler finally convinced me to leave Lily with his parents
instead of bringing her with us to California. We miss her so much.
Its probably for the best. I dont think she would have made it past
security. She's quite a drooler. Her clothing would probaby contain
more water (due to excessive drooling) than allowed past airport
security.

We spent most of this afternoon in Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Ryan
started putting Vinyl Wall Art business cards on all the $300,000 +
cars parked on the side of the street. (I'm surprised all the car
alarms didnt go off as we walked along.) A few hours later, I checked
our VWA orders, and we had gotten one from someone in Beverly Hills.
Since we had their address, and we happened to be in the area, we decided we should drop in to ask them
if they had gotten our business card (j/k). Was it just a coincidence?
Or did Ryans impromptu marketing strategy work? We may never know.

Will you sit by me?

Ella: Mom, do you have a big bum?
Me: uhhh, why?
Ella: Do you think it would fit in this space between me & Lily?

(Or in other words, mom will you sit by me?)

Princess Book Club

My mom & Trisha had "Princess Book Club" for Ella & Cait this afternoon. Lily wanted to be a princess too.
