Me: No
Ella: well, I wish I could have one.
Me: Why?
Ella: In case some humans act like animals, and try to push me, I can defend myself.
Pause
Ella: Now do you wish I could have a bone horn on my head?
Sometimes I have no clue how I should be responding to such questions.

I think you should respond thusly:
"Well Ella, if this is all about self preservation, I don't think a simple horn is going to be enough... You might as well go the extra mile, you know, armadillo like skin-armor, retractable claws, night vision, and tentacles."
Honestly...Ella just makes me laugh! Everytime I read an entry about her, I just laugh!!!!!
